Anne Segrest McCulloch, President and Chief Executive Officer

Ms. McCulloch joined HPET in April 2017. As the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, Ms. McCulloch is responsible for all aspects of the Company’s business and operations.

Ms. McCulloch was previously Fannie Mae’s Senior Vice President for Credit and Housing Access with responsibility for expanding Fannie Mae’s business in emerging multicultural markets and expanding consumer access to sustainable mortgage credit and affordable housing. During her 18 year career at Fannie Mae, Ms. McCulloch was also Deputy General Counsel for Fannie Mae’s Multifamily Mortgage Business.  In this role she provided leadership and legal advice across every aspect of multifamily housing ownership and finance, managing a 31 person legal team with responsibility for a $200 billion book of rental housing debt and equity investments. Prior to that position, Ms. McCulloch served as joint Chief of Staff to Fannie Mae’s Chief Executive Officer and first non-executive Chairman, providing a liaison between executive management, the Chairman and the board of directors.

Ms. McCulloch also held positions with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Resolution Trust Corporation. Ms. McCulloch began her legal career representing community groups and environmental groups in New Orleans, LA.

Ms. McCulloch holds a BA in American Studies and a JD from Tulane University. She is currently chairman of the Tulane Fund Advisory Board and is on the Board of Governors of the National Housing Conference. She was previously on the advisory boards of the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies, the Moelis Institute for Affordable Housing Policy at New York University, VOANS CDE, Inc. and NCB CDC.

David Maggio, Vice President of Acquisitions and Asset Management

Mr. Maggio joined HPET in October 2013. He is responsible for the identification and evaluation of new acquisitions as well as asset management of existing property investments.

Mr. Maggio joined the Company from Fannie Mae, where he was the Director of Equity Asset Management and served as an officer of a wholly owned real estate operating company subsidiary created to preserve and enhance the affordability and sustainability of multifamily properties owned by Fannie Mae. As Director of Equity Asset Management, Mr. Maggio led a team of underwriters and asset managers tasked with the selection, management and workout of various LIHTC and market rate equity investments in multifamily real estate. He joined Fannie Mae from the Archon Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs where he served in various asset management and underwriting capacities.

Mr. Maggio holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Binghamton University.

Alexandra Salvador, Treasurer and Controller

Ms. Salvador joined HPET in August 2015 as Controller and is responsible for the Company’s accounting, audit, budget, reporting, human resources and financial controls.

Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Salvador served as Controller for Crossbeam Capital LLC, where she oversaw fund consolidations and fund reporting for investors. Previously, Ms. Salvador managed the audit of more than 150 entities as Audit Manager with Fairfield Residential Company LLC, and later headed the Property Accounting group, where she led monthly investor reporting and supervised a team of accountants. Ms. Salvador also served as Accounting Manager for Triniti Corporation, a software integrations firm, and merged financial reporting processes for its U.S., Japan and India divisions. Along with expertise in preparing financial statements for numerous companies, Ms. Salvador has worked closely with the Acquisitions, Marketing, and Asset Management teams to develop budgets for their respective groups.

Ms. Salvador began her career as an auditor in public accounting at J.H. Cohn (now CohnReznick), working with private and publicly-traded companies, nonprofits and school districts. She earned a BS in Business Administration/Accounting from San Diego State University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Danté Thomas, Director of Real Estate

Mr. Thomas joined HPET in October 2015. Mr. Thomas is responsible for collaborating with nonprofit partners to evaluate new acquisition opportunities and develop long-term strategies for the asset management of existing transactions.

Mr. Thomas previously worked at the District of Columbia Housing Finance Agency (“DCHFA”) as a Development Officer, where he was responsible for structuring, underwriting, negotiating and closing tax exempt mortgage revenue bonds and LIHTCs utilized to finance the acquisition, construction, and/or rehabilitation of affordable multifamily housing projects. Prior to joining DCHFA, Mr. Thomas held several positions at Fannie Mae, including Senior Asset Manager of multifamily market rate equity and LIHTC equity investments, and Pricing Analyst for the Multifamily DUS Capital Markets and Pricing group.

Mr. Thomas holds a BBA with a concentration in Finance from Georgia State University and a MS in Real Estate Development from Johns Hopkins University.

Mark Zeisloft, Interim Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Zeisloft joined HPET in February 2016. Mr. Zeisloft is responsible for the Company’s financial strategy and capital raising efforts.

Mr. Zeisloft is a founder and principal of the advisory firm Trimar Advisers, LLC (“Trimar”) which provides strategic risk management advisory services to boards of directors, executive management teams and investors in real estate and financial services. Trimar was formed in 2014 to continue the strategic advisory business of its predecessor firm, Loan Management Solutions, LLC, where Mr. Zeisloft was a Principal and Managing Director. Prior to that role, Mr. Zeisloft served as a Director of Special Servicing for Centerline Capital, responsible for resolving over $240 million of defaulted commercial real estate mortgages held within CMBS/CDO structures.  Earlier, Mr. Zeisloft spent twelve years at RREEF America, LLC (now known as Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management) as a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager where he managed over $10 billion of public equity investments on behalf of institutional and retail clients. Mr. Zeisloft began his career at The First National Bank of Chicago, where he held a variety of credit risk management positions.

Mr. Zeisloft holds a BS in Business Administration with Honors from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Mr. Zeisloft is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
