18 Apr HPET CEO Anne McCulloch addresses impact investors at SmarterMoney+™ Conference in Chicago (Big Path Capital)
Anne McCulloch addressed prominent impact investors and fund managers on how philanthropic dollars can catalyze significant private sector investments in affordable housing. She led a panel discussion on the different strategies that businesses can use to attract impact investments, leveraging philanthropic capital to reduce early stage risk. McCulloch was joined by Tyler Blickhan of Ascension Investment Management, Allison Clark of MacArthur Foundation, Alan Arthur of Aeon, Candice Dial of Church Pension Group, and Vernon Marrow of E Smith Legacy Holdings.
McCulloch noted that early stage PRI funding from Ford Foundation and MacArthur Foundation, together with an innovative liquidity facility for early investors from MacArthur, had enabled HPET to build a national portfolio of affordable rental housing. #whereilivecounts
